GGCA on AA Posts, Divorce Rates, ViewPoint, Veganuary

The General and Clerical Association union has welcomed the news that 61 administrative assistants have been recruited by the Government, however it still has concerns that AAs are undertaking AO work without remuneration. The unions says this is especially concerning given that many AO posts have been downgraded to AA posts – meaning fewer promotional prospects. GGCA President Wendy Cumming discussed this in the studio.


In recent years January has seen a spike in divorce rates; the festive season can be stressful, and as it comes to an end, social and financial pressures can put strain on already fractured relationships. But if there's still hope, what can couples do to overcome their problems?  Relationship therapist Fabio D'Apice gave us some tips.
