Joanne serves as Executive Director of Advanced Biofuels USA, a nonprofit educational organization, which she co-founded in 2008, dedicated to promoting understanding, development and use of advanced biofuels as an immediate solution to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and other pollution. She has also served as a lobbyist promoting advanced biofuels research and production on Capitol Hill and with executive agencies. She has observed the world of advanced biofuels research, development, deployment, regulation and financing for about 20 years. She has been voted one of the Top 100 People in Bioenergy by Biofuels Digest.
