This week's edition of Ghana in Focus  looks at the lot of Ghanaian workers in the light of May Day which is a holiday in Ghana.

Our emphasis is on Ghanaian workers who work in the public sector and informal sector.

We examine some of the key issues affecting Ghanaian workers such as remuneration, women's rights, working conditions and access to pension.

We also provide solutions on how the Government of Ghana can improve the lot of Ghanaian workers in order to stop the brain drain which is seeing some of Ghana's best brains leave in search of 'greener' pastures.
