Plot: Following their encounter in a subterranean series of tunnels beneath Saeryn Flats, Lucas, Nila, Branan and Aeson continue their travels. Having spent several days in the wilderness, they are elated to have found a town to allow them temporary refuge from the elements. Much to their surprise, the entire town has been locked up and abandoned, giving each of them an uneasy feeling; despite the uneasiness about the state of the town, they elect to stay the night in the abandoned tavern.
