October is almost here, but we've got time for one more Spoiler Free Speedrun before the Halloween season starts!

For September we're revisiting Shitterboxd, because who am I to deny Becca what she wants? And since we couldn't come up with a theme, and we just so happen to also be covering a couple of 2026 movies, we're sticking with horror movies from the 2020's as we pull the best and worst Letterboxd reviews we can find.

So join us for our love/hate relationship with short form movie reviews on the internet, and let's see who can stump the other person while also trying not to be too mean and obscure. Afterwards, stick around for spoiler free reviews of Buffet Infinity and Touch Me, two movies that we just so happen to have complicated feelings about.

As always, please feel free to email us ideas for games and movies you'd like to hear us cover!

It's the last week of August, and that can only mean one thing - it's time to (playfully) argue with each other and review some horror movies!

This month, we're forgoing a game and instead revisiting THE LIST. Each episode, we add the title we're reviewing to our massive Letterboxd list and rank it against every other horror movie we've covered. And unfortunately, that list has become ungainly enough that maybe we've lost sight of the bigger picture.

So join us today as we try to come up with a more sensible ordering, and let's see if we can actually agree on whether The Bone Temple is better than Psycho. Afterwards, keep listening for some spoiler free reviews for Faces of Death and Exit 8.

When Ash Williams is accidentally transported to 1300 A.D., he must retrieve the Necronomicon and battle an army of the dead in order to return home.

I always saw this as the black sheep, and my least favorite in the series. Have opinions changed over a decade later? Is Becca's first watch positive or negative? Who can say???

What better way to end Becca's Birthday month than with a new episode of Spoiler Free Speedrun, complete with a brand new game! We're back to competing over how well we know each other's horror movie tastes, this time by pulling a year out of a skull bucket and guessing our top 3 favorite horror movies from that year.

So as usual, join us as we struggle to play a game and record a podcast at the same time, while getting overly competitive in the process. And after that, we dive into this month's mermaid horror theme with quick spoiler free reviews of Night Tide and The Lure.
