It is really hard to make a good comedy sequel, and the Ghostbusters team did their best. While it is not even close to the original, Ghostbusters II has to be considered one of the better comedy sequels. We pinpoint what prevented it from being as good as the first, which has a lot to do with its shift to a more family-friendly script off the success of The REAL Ghostbusters cartoon.
