After a holiday hiatus, the Chucklefucks are back and more desperate than ever. The full group is here once more, and after a recap of everything since Episode 26, we pick up with our zeros taking the damaged hulk of Ephram's aetheric converter device up to the surface for further investigation, and apply "aggressive physical adjustment" to its pieces.
Finally out of the water, and away from the now splattered corpse of Fluffy and the aboleth, what will our zeros discover with the damaged machine, and what will they do next?
Digging into the Styes, our mewling band has made their way to the warehouse of a certain Mr. Dory and begun their investigation. While on the surface things are on the up and up, Qina's keen eye has spotted several odd shipments in the manifests, and Salix has made himself a poor discovery. How will they get out of this one?
Setting Sail for the Styes once more, this time our zeros managed to make the 3-day journey without incident, though their arrival was not heralded with much excitement. It was soon apparent there was more truth to the moniker of this unfortunate place. What blunders will they discover? How will the townsfolk react to a healthy, wealthy hodgepodge band?
Back to the sea!! Our favorite band of desperadoes piled into the Sea Ghost once more and set out for parts unknown, thanks to the newly acquired sea chart showing the way to a place called The Styes. Uncertainty abounds though as the crew questions why it was so hard to find the chart in the first place, and why so few people have heard of this place at all. Certainly news of a town falling into despair would have made rounds. Adding to this, the council's loss of both Eliander and Manistrad have rocked the town, the repercussions of which are still not clear.
What awaits them on the seas? Will another ship approach them like before? How exactly are they going to find their way to the Master's Island?
Oh what a terrible night to have a curse!! As dawn approaches, our zeros remained wary, and questioning everything. The night was long, but the city is still standing, though some districts are in disarray. Rest did not come easily for a few of the band as well. The morning already has a surprise to deliver though...
Ephram's tower now behind them, our has-beens returned home to the Briney Maiden for some much needed respite, though the full moon had other plans. Fog rolled in, bringing with it the sounds of destruction, mayhem, and chaos. While the denizens of SaltMarsh normally were prepared, this particular evening all their preparations seemed to be for naught. The large, black ship in the harbor peppering the the city with cannon balls certainly can't be helping.
What will the effects of Ander's Hallow spell ultimately be? What secrets and dangers does the fog hold? Will the city of SaltMarsh survive the night?
Stuck in a simple room with several bookcases and a throne, the Desperate Chucklefucks find themselves in what appears to be a dead end. Where has Ephram run off to and how will our heroes find him?
Listen in while the Ghosts of Saltmarsh crew licks their wounds from the battle in Lehknyr's underground throne room. Will they escape the dungeon? What of the undiscovered room? How will they escape?
Deep within the swamp, our group of gumps has discovered an alchemy lab, but things did not go according to plan. What secrets will they discover? Where will their investigation take them next?
Finally taking a moment to rest, our hapless heroes decide to try and protect their home away from murder hoboing, but things did not go as planned. Has their time in Saltmarsh begun to affect them?
