This week, Darold sits down Gia Graham. Graham, a Barbados native, is a lettering artist whose creative journey started as a child who would always love to draw and doodle. Her high school art teacher introduced her to the work of graphic design prompting her to search out universities that offered that curriculum.

Graham gives a great interview as she further details her creative passage. She details how she started out working as a junior designer during the analog time period to transitioning to an entrepreneur and upgrading to digital design. She highlights how networking and bravery contributed to the growth of her business. In addition to that, you will see why she attributes why the birth of her second child opened up the world of lettering. Graham also talks about a problem that is unfortunately well known to many creatives, self-doubt, and the methods she uses to combat it.
