Hope all is well? It's good to be back. I wanted to drop an episode before sharing and introducing a new guest on the Show. I'll be solo with another installment of 'In Between The Stories'.

"Has AI Already Seized The World And Manipulated Our Perception of Reality?" That's what we'll be asking ourselves today, while going over an article written and published last year by Jason Breshears. It was a prompt to OpenAI by Jason that lead to 10 examples given by the AI on it can control the world and manipulate our reality.

Technology isn't good or bad, but a tool. With the ability to contribute to our lives in a constructive fashion or completely take it over, rendering the user, useless. It's important to note, there are choices we can make which can help us when engaging and navigating this new Age that's being driven by technological advances. Without losing what it is to be human in the process. So, let's get into. Shall we?

As always, I'm pleased to be back with another story to share. Hope you're doing well, and this finds you in good spirits. Today David joins us, and he's got a story to tell. This is going to be a good one.

It's been a while since our last story shared. But, as always it feels good to be back with another one. Hope you all are well, today Alex joins us, and he's got a story to tell.

This will have graphic, and sensitive content. It's a raw conversation about sexual abuse, and the journey towards healing. At 23 years old, Alex was biking around the Netherlands, and afterwards felt an extreme discomfort in his pelvic area. What followed was a host of other health conditions that led him on a search for answers.

With no results after years of different therapy treatments, it was something Tim Ferris talked about that caught Alex's attention, MDMA. A forethought of wanting to work through his anxiety, quickly turned into Alex revisiting his childhood trauma, and the sexual abuse he suffered by a piano teacher of his when he was very young.

For Alex, psychedelics aren't just party favors, but an extremely powerful treatment that has helped him with healing his own childhood trauma and chronic pain issues. He's hear to share some of that journey with us, and shed a light on the psychedelic treatment that's been a BIG reason why he now enjoys a life worth living. What does it mean to "Honor Your Heart?" And how can that help us with ending an addiction? I had my own interpretation of its translation, prior to today. But, our guest makes it clear where she's coming from, and the significance behind "Honor Your Heart." Today, Jessi joins us, and she's got a story to tell.

15 years of addiction. A younger Jessi didn't believe she'd make it past her 30th birthday. Unsuccessful many times with trying to stop, and dealing with health complications because of her smoking. Jessi was left defeated. Both her confidence and self esteem shattered.

But, change did come. She started to learn the language of the soul, and to recognize her own psychological patterns. Getting to the root of why she was constantly going back to cigarettes. For a deeper dive on working out the causes of an addiction, and to help you discover your own unique path to freedom. I encourage you to check out her book "Honor Your Heart, Your Path To Stop Smoking And Stay Stopped." Having gone through the fire. Ridiculed as a child for "being different", loss of loved ones, lack of support at home, trauma from abusive relationships. Stephanie knows the pain life can bring. But, there was a song deep inside of her, that sang for greater things. From her hometown in Charleston, South Carolina to Puerta Vallarta, Mexico onto Santa Barbara, California, then to Costa Rica, and even Guatemala. Stephanie has been guided by spirit and committed to her mission.

Born and raised in Cleveland, Tennessee, today Gabriel joins us. And he's got a story to tell. In 2020, Gabriel moved to Canada for love. Shortly after moving, and filing for his U.S. taxes things began to unwind. A refund of $1,800 was due, but was never processed. It was flagged because of fraud. Four years later, and a handful of roadblocks, Gabriel finally received his refund in 2024. But this exposed him to a bigger issue - "the U.S. expat taxation quagmire."

We're gonna sort through some of the weeds in this convo and hopefully clear some things up. I learned a lot I wasn't privy to prior to our conversation. Maybe you're like me, from the U.S. and now living abroad. Or thinking about relocating. This might be for you.

Dealing with a major depression disorder, and anxiety as well, today, Derek joins us. And he's got a story to tell.

Derek is a former award-winning sportswriter. He talks about the day he gave up his dream job in order to keep 50% custody of his daughter after his divorce. Since middle school, Derek struggled with major depression, and anxiety. And after losing his career, his mental health would only get worse.

When the meds didn't work or seemed to worsen his condition, he sought answers elsewhere. Diggin' into self help books, listening to psychology based podcast, participating in talk therapy. And then, he learning about meditation. And that was the big break through for Derek. He's currently working on completing his meditation teaching certification. With plans to bring to others what's been a huge help for Derek with reducing his anxiety and improving his overall health. And that's the medicine in meditation.

He paints, sings, song writes, plays the violin, guitar, teaches, and is an advocate for mental health. Benjamin Barnes AKA "Bencasso" joins us, and he's got a story to tell.

From out the darkness, and emerging towards the light. Ben's story involves neglect, abuse, depression, disabilities and attempted suicide. But, in true GIANT AMONGST US fashion, Ben's story provides hope, inspiration, and promise. His desire to create raw and authentic music is a fire in him that keeps burning. Ben gets candid with us and talks about the neglect, and abuse he suffered as a child. With him and his brother being left alone for days, in a padlocked trailer, while mother was out doing her thing.

At around 4 years old, Benjamin picked up the violin. His father taught him how to sing and play the guitar, and Ben's mother taught him to paint. Anointed with the spirit to create, musically, vocally, and artistically. Bencasso is the embodiment of artistic expression. Drawing from misfortune, hard times, depression, and an almost fatal attempted suicide. To pull a quote from off his website "Ben simply wants to make enough money through his music to make a living whilst spreading this endearing and inspirational message of hope to all those that feel dejected and disappointed with the current predicaments in their life."
