Today I unpack a little discovery I made when Liam, my son, tested positive to COVID -19. Due to isolation requirements and having to stay home, the time away from the studio reminded me the importance of getting out of my team’s way – allowing them time (and space) to operate without me (which they are 100% capable of doing) and how I also need time without them (or without anyone really!) John Maxwell once said as the leader we need to “pave the way, lead the way, and then get out of the way!” and if I was more eloquent, I would have said that too.
