My next guest is Gill Kennett who is a Trustee and one of the founding members of Hull Help for Refugees. Gill has a background as a social worker and was affected by the media images of refugees washed ashore and the dreadful trauma that they experience when they had to flee their own country. Hull Help for Refugees was formed in 2015 with a group of like-minded individuals all wanting to make a difference in a person’s life.
