Gareth Ainsworth’s Gillingham put themselves into the record books with a 1-0 win over Notts County as they equalled the club’s all-time record with its 20th consecutive league game without defeat.

Josh Andrews’ towering header proved the difference on the scoreboard, but in truth, Gillingham were far the better side on a day where they squeezed the life out of a County side that just couldn’t handle the pressure applied by Ainsworth’s tireless Gills side.
