It's been quite some time. I think the last episode I posted was in February. There is no talking on this episode, just tunes. I'll be back next week with an episode focused on original songs and covers of those songs that are just as good, if not better. That should be a fun one. Anyway, here is a 60-minute mixtape of songs that just fell into place as I made this episode. Enjoy.

A week ago I made a post on my personal Facebook page asking what should the next episode of the podcast focus on, and my good buddy Kris Forward suggested 60's Proto-Punk. Now, I know very little about this "genre" except for it's major players, The Stooges, MC5, The Velvets, etc., so I thought it would be fun to put something together and learn a little more. So here we are. 22 songs that I think are a pretty damn good representation of what one would call Proto-Punk. I hope you enjoy it. Don't forget to tell your friends or anyone you know that loves music to check out the podcast, subscribe to it, and give it a rating it would really help out!

I know, I know, it's been quite awhile since the last episode, but what a way to come back! I had a great time talking with my good buddy, Mike Taylor of Terminal Bliss, Pageninetynine, Pygmy Lush, Haram, Mannequin, etc., about twelve of his favorite songs, and so much more. I hope you enjoy it, and be on the look out for more episodes!

Today's guest is someone I've known and have been inspired by for quite some time. Dan Fisher is not only a great and highly saught after musician in the Grand Rapids, Michigan music scene, but he is also one of the nicest human beings you could ever meet. I had a great time catching up with Dan and talking about his choices for top 3 desert island songs. Below you will find links to all of Dan's relevant social happenings so you can keep up with one of the busiest people in the west Michigan music scene. Enjoy!

Welcome to Episode 29! I can't believe I've kept it up for this long. I only missed a couple weeks since I started this thing and at times like I don't want to do it at all, but I always get pulled back to it because I love playing music for people. I'm not too sure how many people listen to this, and if they did would they even admit it? Who knows. I hope you enjoy the show, whoever you are. Welcome, welcome to the few people who do listen to this podcast. This episode focuses on my ten favorite songs from two of my favorite bands of all time, Jawbreaker & Fugazi. It was really hard choosing a ten best from each band because honestly, every song both bands have written could be in my list. The ones I chose for this episode just happened to be what i'm digging on the most right now. I also have a little tribute to the late great genius Shock G of Digital Underground who recently passed away. Before I discovered punk and hardcore hip-hop was my first true love, and Digital Underground was one of my favorites. I hope y'all enjoy!
Welcome to another episode of the Gimme Danger Radio podcast. You may find this one to be a little interesting as it follows a format you may not be familiar with, but I hope you enjoy the show either way. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
