A native New Yorker with Jamaican parents. I was born in Brooklyn, and moved to Staten Island as a child. Art was always my life as long as I can remember. Once, on a family trip… our flight was cancelled and we were stuck in the airport. I remember being being so sad when there was no pencil available to draw with. All I ever wanted was and endless ream of paper and never ending pencil… this is still the case. ^_^

I have a Bachelor’s in Traditional Animation from the School of Visual Arts in New York and a Master’s in Graphic Design from Nottingham Trent University in England.

Comics are essentially my favorite medium! Independent comics to be specific. I’ve always known they would be part of my life in a big way. Comics / Graphic Novels that changed my life are Blankets, Questionable Content, Maus, Understanding Comics, Stray Bullets and a ton more.

I love to travel, dance, and wear lip gloss. I am teaching myself German and I collect fake food.

I currently live in Atlanta, GA with my pet cow, Filet Mignon.
