Girls go 1-2 in first week, set to host Bear River Thursday
The Box Elder High School girls soccer team started their season off with a 7-0 victory over Morgan High school on Tuesday, Aug. 5, in Morgan. Senior Emma Nelson held strong in the goal with sophomore Mia Page seeing some varsity time in the goal and helping with the shutout. “Great way to start off the season by beating the defending 3A state champs,” said coach BJ Barber. “We had seven goals with four different goal scorers. Most importantly we played as a team with support all over the field and from the sidelines. Looking forward to an amazing season.”...
