Dancing on my own

"Girls Night" Through Their Eyes

Listen Later

In this episode, I do something a little different — I read reviews of my first two short horror films, Girls Night and Girls Night 2.
Some are kind. Some are… not so much.
But all of them matter, and are super interesting!

I go through what people have written on websites and Letterboxd, and talk about how it feels to see your work reflected through someone else’s eyes — the praise, the critique, the misunderstandings, and the unexpected kindness.

This isn’t about defending or explaining the films.
It’s about learning, laughing a bit, and being honest about what it means to grow as an artist when your work starts to live its own life online.

If you’re a filmmaker, a horror fan, or just curious about what happens after you hit “upload,” this one’s for you.
Let’s read, reflect, and maybe scream a little together. 👻
