The Box Elder High School girls basketball team saw improvement this season with a 9-15 record and qualifying for the postseason after missing out a year ago. The preseason for the Bees brought a mixed bag of results as the team topped cross-county rival Bear River and found success in the Desert Hills Classic tournament, winning two of three games. But the Bees also took some tough losses as Sky View took a 41-point win to open the season while Springville bested the Bees by 30 on their final day in St. George.
