Give the kid a break. Social media and all this stuff lives forever. I just don't think there's any real reason to entertain this kind of a conspiracy theory. If you know anything at all about professional athletes and the type of commitment that they have to make to keep their body in peak physical shape, I'm sure the kid's feeling a little insecure about how he looks— how he feels, his stamina. 

Just give him a break.
