When you act like everything depends on you, you’re setting yourself, and those who follow you, up for failure in the long run. The truth is that each of us works within our limitations. We are humans, and we’re flawed. But, there is hope! God designed us to be in a relationship with Him. He is bigger, stronger, and more powerful than we are. And unlike us, He can handle all of the weight in our lives. And Christ lives in us who believe in Him, according to Galatians 2:20.

So, ask yourself: “What am I carrying that I can give to God?” “What am I trying to control, that I really shouldn’t be?”

As others see you trust God, they’ll see the peace that will inevitably cover your life as a result of it. They’ll want what you have—and what a great opportunity that will be to share the Good News with them! Make a conscious effort to trust in God and let go of trying to carry everything on your own. God promises to be with us, to care for us. Psalm 57:10 says, “Great is your love, reaching to the heavens, your faithfulness reaches to the skies.” Reaching your world with such good news will happen. So trust Him!
