Giving Tuesday is a great time for reflection. Brian and Lauren run down a gratitude list. Highlights include their new life in California and the launch of the new Full Belly Laughs website. The move from Philly to SoCal was talked about, but never seemed real. Making this a reality has been a really positive change in the couple's lives. As for the new site, Brian started working on it 15 months ago in his spare time. In the interim he's gone through 2 different jobs and moved 4 times (once across the country). Needless to say there were distractions and challenges. Oh and Brian isn't a developer, so learning a lot of this stuff was unfamiliar. After a lot of work, the site finally came to fruition. Special shout out to Jeremy Gimbel for his mentorship, patience, and friendship. Brian's plan for Full Belly Laughs is to be ad-free and fan supported through donations. In order to do that though, he needs to practice what he preaches. On this Giving Tuesday, Brian started contributing to 5 of his favorite content creators.
