In this episode of Give Me A Chance!,  Lynne tells how she got the chance to change her life and started thriving again by running away from a dangerous family situation. Lynne's marriage to her first husband started to crumble down in the late '70s as he suffered from the mental health scars of fighting in the Vietnam War. The only way to escape from this situation was to grab her children, flee to California and find a way to begin a new life away from him. Many years on, Lynne is a proud grandma and she has recently published a cookbook for diabetics, Brownies for Breakfast.

In this episode of Give Me A Chance!,  Vanessa shares how coming out changed the course of her life. Throughout her youth and her twenties, Vanessa had struggled to fit in and had not managed to have a solid, fulfilling relationship. But it was when she came to question her sexuality that she realised that she was attracted to women instead. Coming out became for Vanessa an opportunity to change her life and embrace her very self. This also inspired her to become a coach and to set up The Coming Out Coaches with her partner, Lucie.

In this episode of Give Me A Chance!,  Waheed tells his story and how being hit hard by the 2008 recession turned into an opportunity to change his life. As the successful career he had built for himself collapsed with the financial crisis more than ten years ago, Waheed fell into a self-distructive path and fled from the US to his home country, Pakistan. But it was only when Waheed decided to face the situation and to take responsibility for it that his life got a new meaning. Waheed is soon publishing his first book, where he describes the most impactful events that took place in his life.

In this episode of Give Me A Chance!,  Angel shares with us how he got the chance to change his life by focusing on his talents and his core values. As he was expected to adapt to a corporate environment that did not reflect his principles, Angel decided to leave the company he was working for to start anew as an entrepreneur. Defining his life purpose led eventually to setting up Angel's own non-profit organisation, Wisdom for Kids, through which he supports children in South America.
