What would your answer be if God came to you and asked what you would have Him give you?
Money? Long life? Revenge on your enemies? Status?
When God came to Solomon, first, he recognized that where he was right now, king, was all because of God. He understood his shortcomings in that position, just a child. He understood the importance of his job, king of God’s people. So he asked for wisdom to administer justice.
