Everyone loves to receive a good gift, but not everyone knows how to give one. Sometimes our struggle with giving stems from not really understanding why we’d want to and other times it’s just because we’ve misplaced the joy we experience when we’ve been blessed by a gift we’ve received. In fact, anytime we choose to give it will be based on what we understand about what we have received. We give because we have received. We give because someone else gave to us. For two weeks, Pastor Butler will speak to us about the reality that our greatest gifts in life come from God and the joy that can come when we learn to truly give to others in His name.
