Today is reminding you to give yourself some grace.
It’s all too easy to move through life and find that events, conversations and achievements have been forgotten or taken for granted.
So, to address this, in my Re-Enchant Your Life community, each Sunday we end the week with some GRACE.
GRACE being an acronym for Grounding, Recognising, Appreciating, Centring and then finally Embodying.
We spend the most attention on the Recognising. Recognising all that you have done and achieved, completed or brought to a close, during the week.
This 15-minute practice reminds us of the importance of pausing and recognising all of the things we do, achieve, and bring into our experience.
All the things that we have made happen, and have to be grateful for.
All the things we consciously choose not do, as consciously choosing not to do something is as powerful as choosing to do something.
It’s so simple yet such a powerful practice.
This recognition and gratitude brings in more happiness, peace, contentment, satisfaction and of course grace.
No matter the twists and turns, the wrong starts, and the unexpected events that show up in your life, whether you feel confident and at ease or unsure and on edge, recognising the things that you can feel grateful for, calms your spirit and taps you into your resilience and ability to transform.
In this very moment, just pause and take a breath, as you allow grace and some gratitude to flood your body.
Today’s SHEro Action:
Today’s SHEro action is to recognise all that you have done and achieved over the last seven days and appreciate yourself for having done all of them.
Think of those things you’ve completed, the items checked off your to-do list; the mundane and the exceptional.
Recognise all the times that you said ‘Yes’ to yourself. The times you stopped when you were tired or made a choice that nourished and supported you.
Think of all the acts of kindness you’ve shown others, it could be as simple as a smile or doing someone a favour.
Think of those smiles or favours that you have received. Although someone else did this for, or to you, you are the kind of person that they wanted to smile at, or help, so recognise the part you played in that interaction.
Pause, and take a breath. As you give yourself permission to recognise all that you do.
Today’s Affirmation:
“I recognise myself and all that I do”
