Giving is primarily about honor. Genesis 28:22.
TYPES OF GIVING
- [ ] The lords tithe. Leviticus 27:30, numbers 18:21
- [ ] The festival tithe. Deuteronomy 14:22
- [ ] The tithe of the poor.
THINGS TO NOTE ABOUT GIVING THE NEW TESTAMENT
- [ ] The New Testament giving is always sacrificial.
- [ ] It must be planned for. 1corinthians 16:1-2
- [ ] Under the New Testament giving is our responsibility. And we have a responsibility to: God and the church, and also to those who labour over you. Galatians 6:6,1corinthians 9:11.
