As Jesus lays out the principles of His Kingdom, we see that we are to give all things generously. Because that characterizes the Kingdom of Heaven, it characterizes us, citizens of Heaven. In Matthew 6, Jesus teaches that generosity marks a believer, benefits the believer, and focuses the believer.
