Is there a gospel without a resurrection? It might sound absurd to raise this question, but you should know that there are churches who actively preach a gospel while also maintaining that the resurrection is an ignorant thing to believe in. But not only is this a departure from the most basic creed in church history (the Apostle's creed), it is a denial of Scripture. One test case includes the book of Acts. When you read the book of Acts, you soon realize that the emphasis is placed upon Jesus' resurrection from the dead.
