One of the easiest things to believe as human beings with finite resources is that there is a chance we will not have enough for ourselves. This morning in God’s Word we see that God is able to bless us abundantly, in ways that we can’t even calculate the whole and sum of how rich he makes us. Not so that we can become rich ourselves or achieve a status we desire, but so that we can abound in every good work and be generous on every occasion. Just like a farmer sows his seed freely, God’s people can live generously.
