Have you ever thought about the "supplemental moms" you had throughout your life? I'm talking about the women who seemed to show up right when you needed them most. Maybe you were like me and experienced an unplanned pregnancy or needed help dealing with a loss of something or someone. 

I know since you and your mother have had conflict it seems like you've journeyed alone, but I implore you to take a closer look. 

In this week's episode, I intentionally acknowledge women who have "mothered" me along my path. I also explain why it is not dishonorable to my biological mother to do so.
