Giving Hope to Those Who Need it Most - Becoming a Children’s Champion to Help Kids Battle Cancer - Matthew Hill, Ep. 60
In 2013, I was diagnosed with a rare and aggressive Childhood Bone Cancer.
I lost my leg to this disease and endured months of intensive chemotherapy. Throughout this journey, even though there was great hardship, I was blessed to witness some of the very best of humanity as a community came together to help me battle this disease.
And by the end of that year, I was Cancer-Free.
The battle did not end there, however. When you battle through something so damaging, so intense, it can leave you feeling broken and beaten, no matter how many smiles you wear every day in spite of it.
I was left feeling defeated, without value or purpose for my life.
It was a long road forward, but I was eventually able to establish purpose in my life again through the "Be Impossible" mindset, becoming an athlete, a speaker, and an entrepreneur.
In 2023, Team Impossible formed to raise funds, advocacy, and awareness for kids battling cancer today as a Children's Champion. What I experienced was beyond anything I could have imagined.
Once again, I witnessed the very best of humanity as we raised over $32,000 for Childhood Cancer Research, and gave Hope to so many kids battling today.
This year, Team Impossible is returning with 37 athletes, and our Mission is to help spread the message of Children's Champions to show you how you can give these same Kids Hope.
It is our mission to show Kids battling Cancer the immense strength they've built, and they can use that Strength to chase any dream they have for life.
