The holiday season is coming up and people are in the giving mood, once again. In this episode, Tim and Amanda talk about Giving Tuesday and what it means to embrace being a part of a stewardship driven organization.
Having an impact from giving back can come from more than just money. Tim and Amanda talk about three different types of giving: Time, Talent, and Treasure. They go into detail in this episode about giving time and talent, not just money. Tim and Amanda go into detail about how giving has impacted their professional and personal lives with example of organizations that they give to on a regular basis.
On top of what they believe themselves, they speak on the importance of letting others grow from giving by using the idea of VTO, or volunteer time off. They believe this allows employees the opportunity to give back to a cause they are passionate about while allowing them to feel like their whole selves at work.
