This year has been surreal but, you know, in general, our realm of reality is weird. We just don’t really pay attention to it. This week’s stories focus on some Matrix-type things that just can’t be easily explained. Nydia talks about evidence of a real-life Matrix by exploring concepts such as the Mandela Effect, and other strange phenomena that would suggest we are all part of an elaborate simulation. Dana explores incidents such as Sir Victor Goddard’s unexplained flight through time, the Liverpool time slips, and the Kerney Cadets time slip. Cindy charms us with a hilarious story from Tripadvisor about a possible alien abduction in Atlantic City.
For dinner, Cindy stopped time with creamy bacon chicken thighs in a mushroom thyme sauce and for dessert, she beamed us up with lemon ricotta thyme mini cakes. Our wine was a delightful White Oak Sauvignon Blanc. This was a fresh wine that paired well with the thyme in our dishes. It had a nice, low acidity and had notes of green apple, kiwi, and pear.
