Chris beat Astro Bot and we speculate on whats next for that franchise. Maybe a Kingdom Hearts inspired Sony-verse? And Dungeons Of Hinterburg asks the question of what wouldn't you do on a vacation. Magical portals open so why not plan a trip to fight monsters to decompress from your day to day life. But what beaches in games would you actually want to visit for a weekend getaway?

Hello all! Before we get into Astro Bot Christian has a little chip on his shoulder that needed discussion. It is becoming much more common in games and media now but too many titles have little to no pay off at the end. You finish a story and instead of enjoying a twist, or witnessing a huge epic event, or just a good payoff the ending is spoiled half way through and nothing exciting happens. Its especially annoying with games you spend 40+ hours in. But anyway...Astro Bot is amazing and it is just further proof that we NEED a new Ape Escape game!

Hey there! Throughout media certain jobs have been made to look more appealing then they actually are. There is more drama and gun fights thrown in to add to the mystery of what the job actually entails. Whether is Indiana Jones surviving a nuclear blast in a fridge, or fighting a giant Trex in a cave like Tomb Raider the job has a lot of added flourish. But is this a bad thing? Is this just escapism at its finest. And how many people have been introduced to these jobs through media and have made it their life's passion to go into the field. Let's talk about that!

We open hot this episode with some super great tech issues with Game Pass. But dive head first into the world of simulation games with inZOI. If you have not seen this game it looks insane! The character creator alone is so realistic its slightly uncomfortable. While Christian was never one to get into these types of games, Chris helps him better understand the appeal of these fictional worlds.

Coop is coming back in a hard way for us here at GlitchCube. Chris who is not a Avatar fan boy has been playing the game with a buddy, and only playing it coop and enjoying the game itself. With that there is also Remnant 2 to explore. While Christian continues down his path of long RPGs with Tales Of Arise next. So much to play and so little time.

Hello again! We took a week off last week for good reason! Our Glitch family has grown. We welcome Chris's new babies into the world! With such a large life event we somehow managed to still find time for games. Christian finished Eiyuden Chronicles, a fun game but slightly lacking in something. And Chris finished up Pikmin 4, a solid gaming experience. Fun puzzles and great visuals. So sit back, relax and enjoy some thoughts on these games, plus some shows too!

From the IBS Podcast!
We have a series of fun episodes planned out for you all. We are going to be playing the Quiet Year. It's a table top world making game. Perfect for world building and we allow our imagination to run wild here. Typically you start with a blank slate and build out the world from there. But we decided to build a world in the land of Candy Land! Think epic Game Of Thrones meets cotton candy woods and chocolate swamps.

Hey everyone! We are back with a little update episode here. We have been combing through our backlog of retro games all the while trying to keep up with the newer titles as well. We dive deep into Eiyuden Chronicles, a great love letter to the Suikoden games. But is it sticking too close to the source material? Is it missing some of the quality of life tropes that we have come to expect from modern RPGs. Also, Pikimin is back in a big way! The perfect pick up and play game for everyone!

With the flood of great games released so far this year and looking at the list of whats to come we thought it would be a good idea to look at the game of the year contenders so far. So, at least we forget about all of them. Even though we have split the year the list is as strong and as long as previous years already. And there is truly something for everyone. Games like Balatro, Prince Of Persia: The Lost Crown, Unicorn Overlord, 1000xResist, Like A Dragon Infinite Wealth and so much more!

This week we dive back into memory lane and do a little draft pick of our top 4 N64 games. And some of these picks will definitely surprise you. Looking back at this console it really was made to be enjoyed with others. So many of their biggest games were not single player experiences. Instead they brought families together while simultaneously ripping them apart. Whether its arguing over the rumble pack or getting mad at the rng of Mario Party it was a crazy fun time!
