Boteach is the author of 30 books,[2] including Kosher Sex: A Recipe for Passion and Intimacy, published in 1999,[3] and Kosher Jesus, published in 2012. His outspokenness has earned him praise and criticism; Newsweek magazine named him one of the 50 most influential rabbis in the United States three years in a row, including sixth in 2010.
