Okay, so it has been over a year since part 2 of the Essential Kylie series was released but the reason has been the difficulty in finding quality remixes of her singles from the late 90's and early 2000's. This is where my good friend Rob (aka Division 4) stepped in and helped me out enormously. He generously gave me some of his personal and private remixes that he had done of Kylie and I am extremely grateful for his generosity. This edition is dedicated to him. A big shout out also to DJ Argonaut from Melbourne. This 3rd edition covers Kylie's album releases 'Impossible Princess'; 'Light Years'; 'Fever'; 'Body Language'; 'X' and her self titled album 'Kylie Minogue'. "Where Is The Feeling" marked a move into a smoother, house phase of her musical sound, while "Some Kind Of Bliss" highlighted an indie sound. "Spinning Around" was a massive hit which established the sexy playful side of her and her music as did "Kids", her collaboration with Robbie Williams. Even though she had had some success in the USA with "Locomotion", her single "Can't Get You Out Of My Head" went to number 1 in nearly every country it was released in and the music video was provocative and something completely new for Kylie. "Love At First Sight" was another huge hit and she was on a role. "Slow", "Red Blooded Woman" and "Wow" brought her to the close of the naughties and set her up to launch into the 2010's.
