Global health emergency declared due to novel coronavirus outbreak
The World Health Organisation has declared a global health emergency due to the coronavirus outbreak in Wuhan, China. The death toll is now over 300, with the first death outside of China recorded in the Philippines last night. The contagious virus has now also spread to more than 18 countries. The head of World Health Organisation, Director-General Dr. Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus says he is declaring a global health emergency.
