Global nursing research and education is the focus of this episode of Nursing Notes Live. I interview nurse educator and researcher Lori Spies about her work on global nursing initiatives. Lori is an assistant professor at the Baylor University Louise Herrington School of Nursing, a family nurse practitioner, and a teacher in the doctoral nurse practitioner program.
In 2017, Lori received a Fulbright Global Scholar Award to teach and conduct hypertension-related research in countries including India, Vietnam, and Zambia. Listen as we talk about the importance of nurses building leadership and research capacity to address priority population health issues globally.
