It's clear to most of us what monetary extravagance means in a selfish consumer driven society, but how should Christians be extravagant? Reading from Mark 14:1-9 Pastor Phil talks about the woman who used an extremely valuable perfume to anoint Jesus ahead of his burial, her lavish act was motivated by her love for Jesus. God's unconditional extravagant Grace brought salvation to the world through Christ Jesus, and in the same way we are encouraged love Him and those around us without condition or restraint. 5th February 2017.
