The character of Loki has many things you can learn from, but perhaps the idea of having a “glorious purpose” isn’t one of them. Or is it? I was raised to believe that I had a divine purpose and destiny. In my mid 20s, I stopped believing in all of that, but upon further introspection, I think I’ve held on to a bit of the sense. Not that I believe in god or their plans, but it’s interesting I still feel this energy behind the things that I pursue. So what is that if not god? Can a person define their own purpose and also experience that drive that’s been considered exclusive to the faithful?
