Ministering to the Lord – Part 3
Anchor Scripture: Acts 13:1–2 (Focus: Verse 2)
In “Ministering to the Lord – Part 3,” Apostle Ernest Ohene reveals God’s design for the Church to be a corporate priesthood, devoted to ministering to the Lord and intercession.
Drawing from Acts 13:2, this message emphasizes that the breakthrough in Antioch did not come from strategy meetings or human planning, but from a church gathered to worship, fast, pray, and intercede. As the Church ministered to the Lord together, the Holy Spirit spoke, direction was released, and men were sent into divine assignment.
Apostle Ernest teaches that intercession is not separate from ministering to the Lord — it flows out of it. When the Church turns its focus toward God in worship and devotion, it gains heaven’s burden for people, cities, and nations. Intercession becomes effective because it is birthed from God’s presence, not human urgency.
This message calls the Church back to its priestly identity: a house of prayer, a place of worship, and a spiritual altar where God’s voice is heard and His purposes are advanced. When ministering to the Lord and intercession become central, the Church becomes a gateway for divine movement on the earth.
