Christ is our Eternal Priest. He is the One who stands between us and God. But this work is far more than just for our benefit. Christ receives glory and the perfect will and wisdom of God is displayed in His obedience to the calling. Glory is shown, is ascribed to Him and is given to God. God is vindicated for His patience toward us, and the perfection of His Eternal plan is manifest to all who see. The broken nature of this fallen world is designed to display the riches of God's mercy and love. And no matter what it may seem like to us, all is as it should be at this moment.
