Today I'm joined by Matthew Critcher.
In this day and age there seems to be a culture of quote, instant success or overnight success. I think that there has always been that element, but with social media etc. we “see” it so much easier.
Years ago, I heard an interview with Ann Rule, the renown True-Crime author. She was asked if the murder rate was getting worse and worse and she said, “No.” and actually cited the Bible. She said that when Cain murdered Abel there was a 25% murder rate worldwide.
So, the temptation of quick fix has always been there. In Sunday school we can look around at other churches or even see a lack of what we define as progress in our own Sunday school and become discouraged. Today we want to talk about the “secret” to get out of the microwave mentality.
