Today is Father's Day! Happy Father's Day to all the wonderful dads out there! Today I share some of my Dad's famous sayings.. Dad quotes... all men have them. I have! Especially when my life fell apart, I struggled to keep from exploding many days. I’m excited to introduce to you my friend Jo Peacocke - she has battled anger all her life and is completely honest about it. Meet Jo!

Jo is a mom to four almost grown children and wife to Adam, who is a ministry leader in the Sonoma County community. Jo was born and raised in New Zealand, where she walked through the death of a sister and a turning away from her faith before she turned her heart back to the Lord. Today Jo works part time at a pregnancy counseling center helping woman through difficult times, as well as assists her husband in their local ministry. She is a bright light that I know is going to encourage you today!`

The perfect episode for Valentine's Day! Today's show is special... Kristi Blackburn and her husband Davey run the ministry Nothing is Wasted and share how grief and trauma can be used for God's glory in your life. In 2015 Davey's first wife, Amanda, was tragically killed in a home invasion when she was 13 weeks pregnant with their second child, leaving Davey and their 15 month old Weston in a puddle of grief. Davey and Amanda were church plant pastors, and their story made national news. Davey went on a grief journey that he chronicled in his book Nothing is Wasted. During this time, he met Kristi.

Kristi had her own broken story, and when she met Davey, she was not in prepared for what God was about to do. A divorced mother of a little girl named Natalia, Kristi walks through a time of surrender and redemption and her vulnerability about her journey will encourage you. In today's podcast she shares nuggets of faith as she tells her story, and great wisdom and courage that is utterly inspiring.
