The week after Thanksgiving is the perfect time to discuss gluttony don’t you think? The week after Black Friday is even a better time to talk about another type of gluttony. Spending too much on things that we hope will make us happy. Research and Scripture are in lockstep agreement, money and the things that you can buy with it , do not, I repeat, do not bring us any more joy, contentment, or happiness. Yet, we keep spending that it will. Why is that?
