GM putting $2.2B into its first all-electric vehicle plant
General Motors made an announcement today that could possibly have rippled across the entire automotive industry. GM says it will invest $2.2 billion in its first all-electric vehicle plant. They say the plant will open in Detroit, taking the place of a plant that was previously set to close. They say it will create 2,200 jobs.
