Gnarky A.K.A 'Uncle John' Joins us Toniiiiiiiight in THA Schtudio as he comes to town from Kenora,ON for his show on Saturday and we discuss his interesting journey as a musician and collaborating with local Thunder Bay artists.
Gnarky brings a fresh round of enthusiasm and energy to town as he performs with B The Wiz, JT Thunder, C.C and many more at the MAAMAWE Summer Indigenous Festival & Showcase at Marina Park, Thunder Bay on Saturday at 12-9pm and thereon for an After-Party at Atmos with O'Rose and Chepnko. He shared his heartfelt journey of being a musician in Kenora and expressing his emotions through his songs, performing with The FlipSide and how he believes his music has evolved over the years.
Gnarky also talked about his family supporting his music from early days and also talks about being bullied in school and using that as an expression in his lyrics and acknowledges that sometimes things that happen in our lives help build character and keep you going.
He also said he draws inspiration from Brandon 'B The Wiz' Rodeghiero and appreciates his support in making and performing music and the constant encouragement he offers his contemporary artists.
