Before becoming the beloved Laser in the American Gladiators show, Jim Starr got drafted by the USFL, and played for the Kansas Chiefs, and the LA Rams, where he met Dan Clark, better known as “Nitro”. Laser is the longest-serving Gladiator, competing in all the seasons of the TV show and the Live Tour.
