Ambassadors (Week in Review)

Scripture: 2 Corinthians 4:6; 5:18–20 Runtime: ~5 min

This week we've traced a thread from Isaiah to Jesus to us — a mission that was always global, fulfilled by Jesus, and handed to his followers with a promise to be with them. Paul takes it one step further: the same God who spoke light into existence at creation has revealed his glory in Christ, and he has entrusted ordinary people with the message of reconciliation.

Paul's word for that role is striking — ambassador. Someone sent to represent a king greater than themselves, carrying his message and embodying his values, wherever they go. And the message itself is good news: God isn't counting people's sins against them. He's inviting them home.

Live It Out: This week, think of one specific person God has put on your heart — someone far from God, someone curious, or someone who already knows him but needs encouragement. Take one small step toward them: a conversation, an invitation, a moment of honesty about your own hope.

Tell the Story: As Christ's ambassador, you carry a message of reconciliation into every room you walk into. Who is one person you could represent that message to this week — not through argument, but through the way you show up for them?
