Dana Compton, Director of Business Development for Ridgemont Construction, tells us her story and how it is divided into "before" and "after" her life-changing diagnosis. Dana is a bright light whose contagious optimism lifts your mood with every encounter. 
Many may turn down a dark path after receiving the same diagnosis, but Dana has taken a different approach. With the advice of a close friend, Dana is not focusing on her pain but instead on all the beautiful things she has yet to see. 

An example of this is Dana's hobbies including golf and performing.  Dana co-hosts a hilarious podcast called "Scandalous Diamonds" where she and her friend, Jennifer Lusk, dissect Jackie Collins' novels and share lavish jewelry.
