In today's world, we’re talking to any and everybody who’ll listen. Our thoughts and communication are often dominated by the "horizontal" - people beside us, problems in front of us, and even the past behind us. And while we need those connections in our lives, our most effective means of communication is when we go "vertical". Through prayer we can shift our focus from around us to above us and reestablish a firm relationship with Jesus Christ.
